The Science Without Borders® Challenge is not only an art contest, it is a way to learn about and share the importance of preserving, protecting, and restoring our world's oceans. This year's challenge is called "Take Action: Conserve Coral Reefs." The challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to create a piece of art that illustrates one or more specific action steps that can be taken to help save our coral reefs.
The Science without Borders Challenge isn't just about creating artwork though. They have developed an entire Coral Reef Ecology Curriculum with informational videos, interactives, and quizzes! This is an amazing resource for learning about the ecology of coral reefs, and why it is vital that we save them.
